Does anyone have any idea if the devs have mentioned if the GoG Version of this game, specifically all the crashing bugs, and MP connectivity issues are going to be fixed at some point? Or have they been silent about it?
Try this for possible crash fix.

This for multiplayer.
Thanks for the reply. I'll see if that helps the ctd issues.

As for the MP, the problem we are both using GoG - is that mp solution you linked still related?

What I've experienced is, my friend hosts the server, but I will start lagging and disconnect from the game; when I try to find his server and reconnect it as if his server can no longer be found, but he is still paying in his game just fine.

It should work whether using via gog-steam, steam-steam or gog-gog.
The software is free, so you lose nothing in trying it out & hopefully it'll work fine.
P.S. Also removes the requirement for galaxy, so that's less stuff that could cause problems too :)

Thanks so much for the help and info, I'll give these a try and see if it helps!

Has crate been good about supporting the GoG version of Grim Dawn though?

A little slower on patch releases, but my guess that's down to gog itself & not Crate.
Fingers crossed that the new expansion releases both places at same time.
Works fine for me. Thank you!

I too had problems, but it didn't crash after doing this solution from Grim Dawn's forums:

"I think there is currently some incompatibilities with GOG Galaxy client. I have eliminated 90% of my quite frequent freezes by moving these files out of main Grim Dawn directory:

d3d9.dll
dinput8.dll
dxgi.dll
GogGalaxyHooks.dll
xinput1_3.dll

It obviously disable multiplayer but other than that it also remove some game stuttering. "

Also, a comment from Zantai:

If you click the numbers at the top right of the message/quote you want to link to, that'll open a direct link to that quote, instead of the thread. Saves folks then having to scroll through it all ;)

As for multiplayer, there's Hamachi (for those that can get it to work) or Tunggle that'll let players play together without galaxy.
Have to set LAN in Grim Dawn as, for some bizarre reason, gog blocked normal internet usage in game.
