ambient_orange: I tried instal 1.0.0.4 hotfix because i though it will fix the game and let me instal 1.0.0.4!
Patchlog tells:
"Incorrect version " 20times..
But if i try instal 1.0.0.4 it says the same error it said couple days ago!
A possible solution (i don't know wether it will work for you):
the hotfix refused to install at first, claiming "the wrong version was installed" or something like that. i checked regedit and my game version was still 2.3.0.8, even though i've tried to install the (broken) 2.4.0.9 patch several times.
if similar to above, what you have to do is this:
-run regedit.
-get to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GOG.com\G ames\1449651388"
-if "build" = 8 change to 9
-if "VER" = 2.3.0.8 change to 2.4.0.9
