Hello, everybody!

I have a little, yet game-breaking problem.
I cannot enter the Orc Temple. I know there are two ways of doing it:
1. With the Orc Teleportation Scroll;
2. With the figurine on top of the "monument".

I have both of those items, but none of them work:
1. I can't push the lever right next to the gate - I still get "The lever doesn't move at all";
2. When I try to use the scroll, he just waves his hands.

What have I tried:
1. Reinstall;
2. Removing fps fix (which ruins jumping, so I figured it might mess up other things as well);
3. Removing player kit patch;
4. Turning into a meatbug and going under the gate (it worked once, but I reloaded the game, because it turned out to be a main quest) Even this does not work anymore.

I'm running out of ideas. Is there some other way? A hack or a cheat just so I can get on the other side?

EDIT 1: Possible solution: Install disc version, use low resolution and meatbug spell! Worked for me!

EDIT 2: Seems like You can do it with GoG version as well, as long as player kit patch is not installed.

EDIT 3: Good news! It can be done with player kit patch installed as well.
Since there is a lot of walking in and out of the temple You'll need a ton of Transform into meatbug spells. When transformed walk forward as far as You can so that half of the body of a meatbug sticks through the gate. Turn around and start walking backwards. If it does not work on the first try just keep at it. Best place to do it is little bit to the right from the middle of the gate.

I've gotten in that way but, you really shouldn't need it.
Yes, I shouldn't.

I guess the fps fix broke something at the earlier point and it just bugged the hell out.
I'm wondering why gog team didn't even try to fix it.

But at least it can be bypassed and I was able to complete the game.

Gothic 2 is my favourite game ever, and I never got to finishing the first game in the series. And I have to admit that despite these problems (with all the installing and uninstalling game/patches) it was an incredible experience.

Yeah; easily my favorite of the three I've played.

Use system\Gothic_backup.exe in the installation folder to play the problematic portions without the mod. You can then save on the other side and go back to the patched version.

Oh, I didn't know that! Thank You!

I'll keep this in case I want to replay the game!

EDIT (13.04.2014):
Marked Your post as a solution, because it's a great info, that simplifies things a lot! Thank You again!
