I just downloaded the manual for Gothic 2, but when I try to exstract it my A squared anti-malware tells me it has the Trojan.ATRAPS!IK in it. Can anyone confirm if this is happening to them as well?

Try updating your definitions. I just downloaded a copy of the manual and scanned it with VirusTotal; it came up clean from every program, including a-squared.
Which antivirus do you use? Depending on it's detection system, it most likely is a false positive. All AV programs have them.
sounds like your using Malware-Bytes or Mcaffee or Norton (inc Norton 360):

They are the worst for false negatives

(sorry, and old post; but just incase anyone else was wondering)
