In the settings the only option is the Intel Graphics Family piece of crap. I used the nvidia control panel to always run the program using the nvidia card, but it still only shows intel.

I don't have such a system to experiment on but you may be able to force it by editing gothic.ini and changing the number for zVidDevice=0

gothic.ini is located within %localappdata%\VirtualStore
(or if you're still on XP it's wherever the game is installed to)

Unfortunately that did not work. When I changed it and started the game, it only recognized the intel card, and I noticed that it changed the value in the ini file back to 0.

I only want to add the fact that if you're hoping the game will look and perform better using nvidia card, I'd venture saying you're wrong.

I'm downloading the game myself now, and will look into it (I got an nvidia card as well), and if I find out more info, I'll be back here.

Update: It seems I have no problems with the game recognizing the video card.
