this makes no sense, i cut people in the neck and they don't die!
is there a fan patch, or something that fix this?
i can't enjoy the game if im forced to be the good guy.

Are you trying to kill Gomez? You can murder him in Chapter 5.
Have you tried using bow and arrow, instead of sword? I don't know if it's a bug, but I can kill pretty much everyone with the bow.

Just to clarify a few things.

If you attack people with melee they will eventually fall down, still alive with 1 hp. While down, you can loot their bodies without killing them. If you want to kill them, just attack again while they're down, and they'll die for good.

This only applies to melee. If you do enough damage with missile or magic, they will die.

A few NPCs are plot immune, but you'll be able to kill them later after they've served their purpose.
