Hi! I've downloaded Gothic 3 and installed it. But I have noticed something strange... in menu is stated that Community Patch is 1.74.14 not 1.75? It's strange, because I could swear one time it's been 1.75.14 and GOG states that game is up to 1.75 version. Latest patch is needed for Quest Pack 4.2 and Content Mod 2.6.1. So question arises - is this patched up to 1.74 or 1.75? Thank you in advance.

I just started the game myself, and like you say it says 1.74.14, and I have installed it from the most recent gog installer. The CP_Changelog.txt in the game folder mentions community patch 1.74, while the readme.txt say community patch 1.75 so this is admittedly confusing.

A word from the GOG team would be helpful in this matter.

I bought the game a few days ago and the version is clearly 1.74.14, as can be seen both in the game main menu and in the properties of the .exe itself.
I tried to download it with and without the downloader and the version is the same, so the game is not updated to 1.75.14 as stated on the main page.
If you want to play with the latest Community Patch you will have to download it separately.
Unfortunately, though, I noticed that it messes up the GOG installation, infact you won't be able to uninstall the game normally and you will have to delete the folder manually.

i got some solution from the Guys at World Of Gothic

There is no Problem to Update the GoG Version from Patch 1.74 up to 1.75
but you have to install it in the rigth order , witch means

1: GoG Gothic 3 ( with Enhanced-Edition Patch v1.74 , its allready installed )

2: Enhanced-Edition Patch v1.75

3: Questpackage v4.2

4: Questpackag-Update for Patch v1.75

And by Investigating, you mean getting version 1.75 in there instead of 1.74?

So for anyone who downloaded Gothic 3 recently, what happened in the end? Did they update it to 1.75?

I looked everywhere in my library and on the game page and I saw no mention of the version...

I have verified that the current GOG installer gives you version 1.74. Right under the system requirements on the game page it says "Patched to version 1.74".

Oh wow, I must be blind. Just saw it now haha.

So much for their investigation I guess :(
