I've been spoiled by the DX11 mod unlocking the view distance but couldn't stand some of the problems it caused. I've been trying to figure out how to increase the view distance in the game so that I can at least see things at a believable distance before the fog kicks in. I can't find any settings in the .ini file to set it past the in-game max of 300%, however the furthest I can get it is using the Marvin mode command "set clippingfactor" and set it to 10.

The only problem is, this resets back to the in-game max literally every time I open the menu to save the game. Is there a way to fix this? And I'm not using quick saves for numerous reasons, I'd like to just have a permanent fix if anyone's got one.

Thanks
