Im a big fan of the gothic series and ive started playing gothic 2 gold again ( never realy finished it) and i have encountered a problem.

I killed all the dragons in VoM chapter 4 and ive talked to Garond and did all the quests so now I should return to Khorinis and chapter 5 should start but after i get the loading screen for Khorinis there should be a cutsceene with an orc atack ( atleast i think so) but at this point the game crashes before the loading screene comes to an end and all i can do is find a solution online and close the program.

Pls help me out on this as i realy want to finish this great game :)

moonshineshadow: You could try disabling the video scaling which is a known problem for Gothic 1 and Gothic 2.

Here is how to do it (second post), of course going to the location of the gothic 2 folder ;-)

darth00: I tried doing that and i even tried reinstaling the game but doesnt help as the video doesnt even start playing, The game crashes before the video even starts.
