Yep, that old chestnut!
I've been trying to get my old Infogrames (Atari) copy working under Vista 64 to no avail. I've since noticed that Gothic 2 is available from gog.com - but does gog's version really play nicely with Vista 64? What have the good folks of the gog community experience been like?
To be honest, I've been looking for an excuse to try out the service here as I really appreciate what gog.com are trying to do. If the general concensus is that the gog version of Gothic 2 is lovely consider me sold!

I have Vista 64 and installed my gog version of Gothic 2 when I saw your post here. It installs and seems to play just fine. the gog version of Gothic 2 shouldn't play any different then the 32bit version of Vista. Keep in mind though, you may need to consult the sticky at the top of this forum if you have a widescreen monitor and want to run a resolution the game doesn't natively support. Simple fix though. Any other questions, feel free to report back here.
Thanks for the feedback on Gothic 2. Good to hear that Gog's version does work under Vista 64 ok. I'll be downloading it asap!
