Hi all, just got out of the mines and got promoted to a guard in the old camp. Learnt two handed weapons from Thorus but where do I get a two hander from, espescialyl one thats better than my onehander, stonebreaker?
I'm really stuck here so help is appreciated, I can' find anything online so I have no idea what I'm overlooking.
How do you get the best weapons in the game too?

It's been awhile since I played Gothic 1, but if memory serves, I think you get two handed weapons as loot mostly. That is, you need to kill someone with a 2H weapon and take his weapon. Plain and simple. ;)
Hmm, you should be running into orcs and templars pretty soon, IIRC, and most orc and templar weapons are two handers.

yea, gothic 1 is strange in that regard. It's difficult to find two handers early on, so I didn't train in them because I couldn't find one. Later they become plentiful, but usually you'd have to train them early on before you get them to become proficient

You can use Orc weapons, but those have a bad strength to damage ratio if i recall it right.

Naw, it pays off in the start. Not later on, but they're a good start.
