Hello,

I bought gothic 1 a few days ago and although everything went well, I installed the game and started playing, for some reason, the spoken language is Russian. All the menus and subtitles are in English so I see no reason why the characters should speak Russian.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me change the audio back to English. I could not find any solution online or patches or anything similar so far.

No one has any idea how to fix it? It's getting pretty annoying to hear Russian all the time XD (no offence for Russian speakers obviously)

Don't have an answer but just out of curiousity: Are you absolutely positive that it's Russian? Considering that GOG is Polish I'd think that it's more likely that it's Polish audio (and to people who don't know any slavic languages every slavic language sounds like Russian :P). As far as I know Gothic has no multi-language support so the whole installation file you dowlnoaded must have the wrong voice package. As the only Gothic I haven't bought on GOG yet is the first one I can't see for myself what's going on here.
