this is abbout gothic 1, but as with my gothic 2 post, this game refuses to run until I either go online or shut down rundll32 via task manager. this game is not disigned to cntr/alt/del the task mangger ingame and often causes odd behaivor when I do for instance running into walls and not being able to stop the character from running or being locked out of keyboard on occaiosn and having ot restart windows as the bame freezes out the entire keybvoard including the ability to shut it down via taskmanager thereafter.
movies play fine. game, for the most part, works okay except thse occaisoinal crashes but rundll32 must be stopped. and turning off game explorer's "search for" features doesn't work.

GOG is too busy adding new features and pushing Indie, mostly amature made games to worry about classics. I thought this was Good Old Games though. however if you are qucik you can bring the task manager up and shut off (one) of the two rundll32 files if the first one doesn't do it the next one will. but if your game loads with the TM open you will get flakey problems ingame. It has been 5 years and gog has not fixed any of the rundll32 play problems in any of those games that require it(I have several made during 2002-05) that do. GoG and posters just keep saying "It is a windows 7 thing". it is also a Windows 10 thing. But nothing gets done.
