I installed the german Gog.com Versions of G1 & G2, but both games doesn't start. After a double-click on the exe's nothing happends. Changed compability to Admin, & WinXP, but also nothing happends.
Any hints?

Similar situation here. Haven't tried Gothic 2 yet.
When I first installed had the fps problem, fixed that and game ran like a charm, but the next day can't launch it. Task manager shows that the Gothic.exe is working.

Runing on:
i5 - 3210m 2,5 GHz
6 GB RAM
GeForce GT 650m 2GB
Windows 8 64bit

No idea, since I haven't got W7 or W8. Maybe this helps.
Anyway, according to the forum, the game's problem seems to be the process "rundll32.exe" and you can try ending it in the task manager.
