Great mods, especially Dark Mysteries.
Well, for Gothic II NOTR there is Velaya - Tale of a warrior, the setting is Khorinis and surroundings, after the hero leaves for Irdorath and then the mainland. It's a quite long mod and the English translation seems to me very good. Here some useful links:

I haven't played any mods with the Gothic games myself, only just started Dark Mysteries. I've heard most have bugs, so have avoided them. However, if they don't bother you too much, I've heard good things about the Golden Mod as well.

Unfortunately Golden Mod has bugs too, and quite problematic, since there are some holes in the plot, preventing you to finish the game (for example, Ur-Shak doesn't appear and even using cheats he doesn't talk). Since it's an old mod, I think that the russian modders had quit working on it for a long time.
