i have not purchased this game yet, i thought i would check out the forums first for any problems. I think that this is the only solution: GOG should give everyone's money back for a game that doesn't work on their system. Obviously this problem has gone on long enough. Also with all these problems going on with this game why are they still selling it?? does that make sense to you ;)

I also have held off on the game but watched the forums because I like the Chess x Xcom sound of it. Just to refresh: the major issue is that the hardware renderer doesn't work, and the software one does but it's really crappy? Is the hardware renderer issue restricted to just ATI or just nVidia cards? Both?
