1. Load game using: AMD Raedon etc graphics options

2.Disable Hardware Zoom (Tick Box)

3. Alt + Tab to desktop a few times


I hope that works for others. It certainly works for me. (ATi HD 6790)

I had the same issue, managed to get the game running but got screen flickering every few seconds.

In my case the way I found to make it stop is :

When you start the game alt-tab during the intro logos before you get to the main menu like when the Topware Interactive logo video starts playing . After you get back to the game the black flashes should not be there anymore. At least that worked for me.

I have the solution to this problem which I discovered accidentally. The solution is a bit weird.

What I did was:

Download and install KLite Mega Codec Pack and its update if necessary from codecguide.com

During installation you will have to choose the option "use ffdshow for whitelisted applications.

Now when you start the game, a window will pop up asking whether you want to use ffdshow or not. It's not ffdshow itself that fixes this problem. It's that window itself. So choose either "do not use this time" or "use this time" so that this window always appears each time you start the game.
