Hey there folks! Just started playing Gorky17. I actually remember buying this when it first came out (as Odium), but for some reason it wouldn't run on my old computer. Returned it, and have been wondering whatever happened to the game ever since. I even tried to find Odium a while back. Anyways, thanks to the GoG team for continuing to bring great old games back. I've blown way too much money on this stupid site, and don't see myself not buying more games in the future. Even if I don't actually play them half the time :P.
Anyways, on to the questions. Like I just said, I just started playing the game. I'm having a blast, and found myself kind of leaning heavily on one character. The Russian guy, can't think of his name at the moment. Mainly because of the whole solo thing that happens rather early on. I got lucky and managed to bag all of the enemies with him, and as such he jumped a level and a half or so past the rest of my dudes. I'm worried that maybe by leveling one guy a little past the others I'm going to run into problems down the way. Is this the case? Or will I be fine, as long as I keep all my gear evenly distributed?
Since I mentioned it, I'm guessing that it's better to keep your gear evenly distributed through your crew. It seems like you could get better with a single weapon per character (like I'm trying to work the Axe up on one of my dudes), but you'll always want to have a backup or two in wings. Is this true as well?
And, last question! When I level my characters is there anything I should be focusing on? I'm currently dumping all my points into accuracy. Who wants to miss, right? But it seems like I'll max that out pretty quick. Just wondering if there are any useless skills I should be avoiding.
With all that said, I'm having an absolute blast. The game is fun, the atmosphere is great, and the characters are actually pretty well played.
