The DLC we have been speculating about in not too positive a mood seems to be comming to GoG one week after the release on Steam.
Us backers got the following message:

"Hi Backers!

With the release of Rise of the Owlverlord drawing near you were surely wondering about your copy. But fear no longer! Your Steam keys will go out at the end of the week, latest on Monday. So keep your eyes on your inboxes and don’t forget to check your spam folders as well!

And for those of you who prefer GOG, those keys will follow next week. So worry not, we haven’t forgotten you. :)

Happy owl stomping!

For "next week" read "next year".
Nice surprise!. I didn't expect to get the DLC as a backer. Thought they completely forgot about us.
It's now out on Steam.

But at least this ($150) backer has not gotten a key ;)
I hope they release that long overdue patch for the first game as well.
On facebook:

For Ravensdale backers:
26th of September
"We are working on this. Unfortunately we found out that there is lots of stuff you can't do with your backers after a project is canceled. So we are setting up something for the RD-backers where you can log-in, being identified and get your code. Watch out for RD KS-updates the next days!"

For Giana kickstarter backers:
28th of September
"All backers watch out for the coming update at the beginning of the week and follow the steps. Make sure you spread the word!"

Is this one one of those things like Double Fine's game where they released the patch on Steam but not on GOG? Or are you just asking for a patch? Haven't been keeping up with this game.

Yes, exactly. They released a patch on Steam weeks ago and the DRM-free version (backers as well as GOG) is still waiting for it.

The first one, they released a patch for the Steam version which unlocks and easy mode but I haven't released it for gog.
I just recieved the backer steam key for Rise of the Owlverlord. It is a sepparate stand-alone install. No information in the update about a GOG ETA.
And it just got reeased on GOG.
Of course no news yet about the patch.
I just got an email from BFG.
They send me my GOG key for Owlverlord.

They also apologised for not having an ETA for the easy mode patch yet :/

Did you get it, because you wrote them an email first or as a normal Kickstarter update mail. Just asking, because I didn't get a GOG code yet.

I send them an email (using the kickstarter contact button). After a week they then replied with the link for the GOG gift version.
