If you install a game to a different location than the default determined by the Xbox App, the extension doesn't detect them as installed, and the option to install them is greyed out.

This might be unrelated, but I noticed GOG Galaxy doesn't recognize PC games in your Xbox library until you play them at least once, because apparently purchasing them and adding them to your account are two separate things.
