So, I purchased Northgard because it was on sale. I attempted to play and the versions are different. But, they and myself both don't have updates available. It shows me that there are NO online matches available while he has loads of matches.

Aaah, makes sense. Thanks for that find. Sadly I already put in a refund request because I bought it to play with all of my Steam friends and there is no telling how soon "soon" is. :(
