Tried adding the .exe in Galaxy 2.0 but when launching an error pops up saying "ERR_NO_LAUNCHER - Please run Red Dead Redemption 2 from the Rockstar Games Launcher".

Any workaround? I'm thinking we can maybe add the Rockstar Launcher as .exe with some parameters set to launch the game, if possible? Haven't found any info from Rockstar on that, though. Any other ideas, anyone got it to work somehow?

You can't launch it via GOG right now.
The RDR2 DRM needs the launcher to unlock the game.
Yeah this is a problem on Rockstar's end. You can't even launch RDR2 through the shortcut that the Rockstar Games Launcher puts on your desktop.

Hopefully they'll fix that soon. Once they do, 2.0 will be able to launch the game.
Yeah, I suspected as much. Thanks for the answers, anyway!
Hey, this seems to be working now. Just make sure the Rockstar Launcher is running before launching the .exe through GOG Galaxy 2.0 and it should work fine.
I noticed it not recording my playtime when I launched it through GOG without the Rockstar Launcher being active.
