first up, the good stuff:
i really like galaxy for the "this is what you have all over the launchers" feature, and being able to launch them, its makes things rather comfortable in case of big libraries of games. the add friends from otehr launchers is rather neat feature, but i have not tried it, so i cant quite comment. also, i have to admit it has a really slick look, and while not 100 percent "wheres that button" proof, its intuitive

HOWEVER, there are things i rather dislike:

in a way, it feels like a step back, i miss the "go to forums" button that games had, and i mean gog games, not redirected to steam discussions. it is somewhat slow to pick things up, but id say thats being underoptimized, i hope that gets fixed
but what i hate the most, and is a glaring faliure in QOL features is the fact it does not have folders, no way to say "play later", "with the buds", "when did i bought that?" kind of folders, its a minimal thing, but its important overall

those are my sticking points, and, while overall a good launcher, specialy with the combination of other launchers into its library, it has some glaring points to improve.
do keep the work up, and im very sure it will be great as it gets, but its not yet there
About the forums, there is no direct link in the specific game menu right now. But in the configuration tab there is a link to "view game in store". Of course it is not the same, but from there, store game screen, you can enter the game forums.

Also, you can create a bookmark for any game forum and have it in the left bar. Or better, a bookmark of the Community forum instead.

Greetings
You can definitely make selection type 'folders'.:)
What I like to do is create specific tags, add them to games and filter the library on them, then you can safe the selected filter and it appears as a bookmark on the bar on the left.

I agree that many QOL and some major features are still missing, but have hope that they will come in due time.
Forcing people onto 2.0 now was too early.

I also like the idea of one consolidated launcher for all game libraries, and am willing to overlook some quirks and missing features as long as GOG Galaxy 2.0 is still in beta (although I think that 2.0 shouldn't have been forced onto the users of 1.2 at the moment).

However, while 2.0 correctly displayed my Steam library until yersterday, since then 53 games are missing (out of 264). Disconnecting and re-connecting Steam didn't help. This needs to be patched ASAP -- right now 2.0 is useless for me.
