I went one by one in alphabetical order and added all the tags I have on steam in galaxy and found games missing but when I searched for them they were found.
The problem is that steam and galaxy sort the names differently.
A good example is the game "The Long Dark"
In steam its under the letter L and will show the long dark, but will show under the L section
In galaxy it will show under T as in THE long dark.
So its not a missing game, its simply a different sorting system.
I feel bad for reporting this issue before I realized the problem and thought I'd post this here to make sure other people knew as well.
TL;DR: There is a different sorting system alphabetically in steam and galaxy which might make you think a game is not registered on galaxy.
Final note: the reason I jump to the previous conclusion is because it showed me 1000+ games in the first time I synched my games, and one day it went to 900+ and after it fixed itself, so I got nervous.
