Since it has already been asked without any response by someone else I'm creating a new post.

It's great that we have automatic merges for games on multiple platform but I'd like to have the ability to merge any games I want. Because I have fallout new vegas on both platform :

GoG : Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition
Steam : Fallout New Vegas with all DLC (There is no real ultimate edition just the game bundled with all DLC).

So they don't share the same name and not the same stats.

Almost the same thing for Dragon Age Origin Ultimate Edition, I cannot uppgrade the steam version because it's not longer purchasable.

Another example would be to be able to merge certains remasters like Borderlands GOTY Enhanced and Borderlands GOTY.

Same for Wasteland 2 and the director's cut version.

It's not a big deal but it would be nice to be able to do it.

Thank you !
bump here, good idea, because i have some issues too with all THIS GAME LEGENDARY EDITION and DIS GAME ALL DLC included.

But i really don't think that this feature is necessary :3
+1, I bought Outlaws on GOG because it's better and Galaxy didn't merge it, even though the games even have the same name to the letter. It would be a nice feature.

For some reason I have double copies of some games, especially from Humble Bundle.
Merging games manually would be more than appreciated .
Having recently obtained a giveaway copy of Tomb Raider (2013) on Steam, while i also have Tomb Raider Definitive Edition on Xbox makes me just say I concur. It's a feature we need quite urgently.

I never understood why when you buy only 1 game, like "X Game of the Year Edition" on GOG, you discovers 2 games, the original + the GOTY, when all are exactly the same and you didn't bought it twice in different times or different stores, no, they appears after your first buy.

At least we should be able to merge 2 games from the same store, and more ever when you didn't bought 2 versions, and they are exactly the same game in different packs.
+1 to this. Just to list off what I have as duplicates, to get the point across:
-Borderlands GOTY & Borderlands GOTY Enhanced Edition
-Burnout Paradise & Burnout Paradise Remastered
-Cities Skylines & Cities Skylines: Xbox One Edition
-Overwatch & Overwatch Origins Edition
-Plague, Inc. & Plague, Inc.: Evolved
-Tomb Raider & Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition

It'd also be nice to merge stuff like Borderlands Handsome Collection w/ Pre-Sequel & Borderlands 2, Half Life 2 & the chapters, etc., even though those aren't as blatant dupes as the ones above lol
I've been requesting this feature for the longest time. Not only manual merging but also the ability to un-merge games, because I'll have some games that I don't want to have merged/want to have them merged with a different game (i.e. Doom II + Master Levels is merged under Master Levels for Doom II instead of Doom II: Hell on Earth.)
Came here since the issue is still present.
I bought all my Fallout games on Steam some time ago but recently also got Fallout Bundle since it's on sale.
Every game got recognized properly in GOG except FO4 - since the version in the bundle is GOTY (while on Steam I own regular + all DLC which is sold as GOTY anyway).
