So just wanted to post a possible fix for people having problems with large libraries.

Keep gog galaxy open ( not minimized to start ), and make sure you're viewing one of the store pages, not the library pages.

0 to 50% was crasing every few percent added ... I must've had maybe 20-30 crashes ... as I opened gog galaxy again and switched the view to the store highlights and left it there ... it went smoothly from ~50% to 100% in one go.

I know it sounds stupid ... but it worked. Might help other people if they're having issues with large steam libraries. ( mine was 1500+ )

Hey, I think this guy figured it, just tried it and it SEEMED to work for me... anyone else have any luck with this?
Im my case it was just waiting for it to freeze while importing and restarting the galaxy client. Had to do it maybe 10 or more times but at least all my 300+ steam games are loaded now, although I don't get time played and some other metadata on some of the games. It looks like steam is the only problem as uplay, battlenet and so on worked without issues.
