After a clean OS reinstallation of Windows 11 23H2 the GOG Galaxy web installer does not have a known publisher after downloading the installer. It's working on a PC updated to 11 23H2 and on the newest version of 10.
Other applications have a recognized publisher, it's only a GOG problem.
Has anyone else encountered this?

It's fine on my system. Check if your firewall or router are blocking certificate revocation check attempts.

Everything else is able to be verified so I don't think it's a firewall issue. I downloaded the old (June 2023) installer from https://www.gog.com/forum/general/cant_install_gog_galaxy_20_web_installer/page1 and it was correct albeit with a differenty cert. It's too old to automatically update though so I need to keep looking.

Edit: Solved by installing the newest C++ 2015-2022 Redistributables.

Edit 2: The previous activity did not resolve the initial problem, but a workaround was found on https://www.gog.com/forum/general/cant_install_gog_galaxy_20_web_installer by installing the offline installer. That one is correctly recognized and enables correct verification of the web installer.

Edit 3: The ultimate solution was downloading any new offline installer and viewing the certificate. This caused adding it to the OS as a trusted cert and all installers work correctly.
