It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Yeshu: In the old Galaxy, when a game would be getting ready to update, it's icon would be grayed out a little and a spining circle animation would play.

It's a small thing but it was a very convenient and easy way to show that updates are happening, while in 2.0 you have to go to the games page and and look at the top of the page to know if an update is happening.

Overall, the sidebar whit all the game shortcuts could use a little work.
On the list view, there should be a spinner when the game is updating, there is a progress bar on game covers (both in games grid and games recent), but you're right - no indication on the sidebar bookmarks, they're really just shortcuts (although you can double click to run a game).

Lone_Scout: Not to mention if, like me, you prefer manual updating. In the older versions a blue dot meant a game had an available update. Now there's no info about that, you have to enter every game configuration to see if there's any update you missed. Really annoying...
As for manual update indicator, it's a feature from 1.2 that we're still missing in the beta. (You still can update in configure game window)

Mobeeuz: Neither of these things happen for me, I have to verify/repair a game to get an update to process.

clisair: I had to do the same as well for a game I knew was ready for an update. gogrepo use gogrepo for find all the updates that I need to get, otherwise I would not have known.
Manual update (for games/clients with disabled auto-updates) indicator is a thing which was missing in the beta, on which we're working actively - it will be shipped with an update within next weeks.

Most probably, there will be a list of games waiting for update, and a button on the Game View, right next to "Play". :)
