I cannot see my friends from other platforms on my game activity and leaderboards (as it's showned in the picture). Am I doing something wrong or is this feature still missing? If does, why would they show us something like that?

I am also experiencing the same.

For now I think it only shows the activity of your GOG friends, after poking around my own list a bit. Those alternate symbols are what platform your GOG friends are playing their game on, not that they're a friend from another platform.
