I accidentally posted this in the stick for this forum instead of creating a separate thread were discussion, if there is any, of these ideas would be much easier to track. I've also expanded on a few things.

Feature Request 1

Please add support for running GoG Galaxy 2.0 via Remote Desktop (RDP).

When I launch GoG Galaxy 1 or 2 via Remote Desktop I get an error stating "Connection to Communication Service was lost and could not be restored! GOG Galaxy will now shut down"

I have a system in my home I use for storing backups on that I connect to via RDP. I run backup software off that server and also have Steam installed with all of my games downloaded and backed up. I want to do the same with GoG where I install all of my purchases and leave GoG running so they automatically update and I always have a backup of my games locally.

It appears if I just ignore the error and don't click 'Ok' on it GoG works fine. I was able to install my GoG titles.

Feature Request 2 - Ability to select multiple games, right click and install instead of having to do it one at a time

Feature Request 3 - Ability to create/delete tags from the filter menu instead of only being able to create new tags by right clicking a game and adding a tag to it first.

Feature Request 4 - Ability to filter out specific tags. Example I would like to tag all of my VR games and then have a filtered view that includes all installed games but excludes all VR games.

Feature Request 5 - Ability to select multiple games in the games list and apply/remove tags from them. Right now if I hold CTRL or SHIFT and click a game it takes me into that games page instead of just selecting the game preventing me from doing mass installs/uninstalls (as mentioned above) or mass apply/remove tags.

Feature Request 6 - Ability to download offline backup installers only via the GoG client and have those downloaded backups keep themselves up to date as newer releases of the games come out. This ties back into my use case for Feature 1 and would save me from having to install all the games in my library. In a nut shell, I could run GoG Galaxy 2.0 on my backup PC, right click all of my purchases, choose 'Download backup copy' and walk away. Anytime a game got updated a fresh backup copy would download automatically. I would only have to revisit this installation of GoG when I purchase new games and perform the initial backup download of them.

Bug? - There are total counts next to "All Games" and "Installed". Those totals appear to be missing from each platform in the list and when you favorite a custom set of filters no total is displayed. I would use these counts to determine how many games I have left to play (currently working through a Steam backlog)

Feature Request 7 - This might not be at all possible BUT it would also be great if you could take Feature Request 6 and integrate that with other platforms that support backups of purchases. For example I could have a PC dedicated to backups and have GoG and Steam on it. I launch Steam and install all of my games (required to make backups in Steam) and then GoG could use the built-in backup function in Steam to backup those games to some location of my choosing at a specific time daily. Then anytime a game in Steam pulls an update to that game GoG can automatically generate a new backup of the Steam game. I am not aware of other platforms that offer backups of purchases at this time (Origin, Epic, Discord, Battle.net, uPlay, Microsoft and Sony do not offer a way to backup your purchases) and I bet I'm in a very small niche of people who care this much about backing up their purchases but this feature would make my life a lot easier. You should see the method I'm currently using to make this happen.

Feature Request 8 - Integration with "How long to beat" (it's a website you'll have to Google since I can't post scary URLs) so when looking at games in the Store or in your library you can easily determine how long a game takes to beat. It would also be great if you could submit your times from GoG's stats to HLTB automatically so more people could contribute to this awesome site with out having to do so manually.
