I don't use Galaxy to install GOG games, and just directly download the installers. 2.0 therefore doesn't see where my games are located, or which are installed. I tried to install a game to a location it was already installed in hoping it would "verify" the files like Steam and mark it installed. That didn't work.

I've added non launcher games, and those are marked as installed because I linked them to .exe's but this doesn't happen with GOG games and there's no option in the right click menu or Edit menu to mark games as installed.

The "Scan folder for GOG Games" option doesn't work?
Top left gear icon > Add games and friends > Scan folder for GOG games.

Well, so it does. I guess I just didn't think to look there. Something about that doesn't quite sit right with me. Guess I just figure it should be in right click or in the edit menu.

Glad to see it worked, and yeah, I do have some gripes with the organization of some settings. And even if redundant, I think the "Find installed GOG games" should be available on every menu you can manually add games from in order to be more obvious.

Yeah, I think in some sense my initial request still remains. I have Dolphin and PCSX2 and I marked the games I have there as "owned." I know so far I can't launch them from 2.0, but it would still be nice if I could mark them as installed so it shows up in that category. I've only got a total of 4 PS2 games and 1 GC game, so it's not a big deal, but it'd be nice to have them shown. Currently I just have a Win7 library titled games with a bunch of shortcuts. 2.0 is a much nicer presentation.
