Anyone got this dumb glitch where the custom cover art failed to override? Every time I tried to change any of the images, (cover arts, background and icons) it said it failed to override the default one and asked to use a different size or format pictures. This is infuriating cause I just got my Steam library working barring four games not detected and this problem suddenly appear out of nowhere when I'm trying to reorganize my library. Plus the pictures I wanted to use worked before so why now does it said to use a different one. Also I tried waiting for the bug to go away as well as restarting my computer and it still is present.

Guess I'm the only one with this problem then
Have the same problem, I reported it via mantis way back in March, no fix yet.

Here is the another thread with the same problem, there is a manual method to add another boxart there if you want to try it.

I have had this exact same problem during the last few days... Any clue on how to solve it?
Hi, not sure if this has been fixed or not but just in case...

I got a workaround on this issue by editing the standard cover/background/icon usually located at
C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy\webcache\50529435565673445

So what I did with the background for example: close Galaxy 2.0, open both standard and custom images on Paint (LMAO), just copy the custom image, paste on the standard image and hit save.

I did that with covers, backgrounds and icons, they all show up fine here.

Edit: been trying to attach the screenshot of it here but its failing.
