The original Galaxy client has a Windows service component that runs with administrative privileges. Is it possible to have the 2.0 client running without that service component, only with the playing user privileges ? Such that whenever an update is necessary / a download is requested, a link would be issued that can be accessed from a browser, with the standard GOG web authentication ?

That would likely make it acceptable to me !

Of course I'm not asking that it would run that way for everyone, but if I could run it that way if I so desire.
