There was one 2 weeks ago, so there should be one today, right?

Edit: Nevermind, I see the Broken Sword promo replaced it.

I am assuming that there's no Gem promo today?

Roman5: I am assuming that there's no Gem promo today?
A) Hidden Gem Promos are on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of a month, today is the 4th, so no promo.
B) From here "There will be no Hidden Gem Promo tomorrow on GOG.com due to the Broken Sword Promo. Be on the lookout for the Hidden Gem Promo on November 2nd."
I really wished gog would use a simpler rule (like every two week), but at the moment it's the first and third wednesdey each month. The third wednesway was last week it was Broken Sword.

Edit: Too slow, Jmich was faster ;-)

So, no reason to visit gog on monday, wednesday, saturday and sunday.

Great marketing, lol.

No reason? What about forum and other GOGers? That's a lot of reasons.
I really think the "GOG gem" promo should be at least every week

now that I think about it....GOG has 400 titles now

Why not do it every Monday and Wednesday to fill in the empty event days?

Coincidentally, those are the days I don't go broke.

I have direct link for forums stored at quick dial. ;) But the community is one thing. And store is the other.

What I mean is, Valve discovered "constant sale" is the best form of marketing. Every day on steam brings not only new games, but also new promos. There is reason to visit STEAM store every day.

There is no such reason for GOG. I visit the site only Tue and Thu for new releases and Fri for weekend promo. (forums are the other thing)

You forget that their main field is selling games for 6 or 10 bucks. So the reason is to buy games at normal price. Promo sales are just the additional lure.

Agree. But I know the prices of the games i want to buy, so I don't need to check GOG website unless I KNOW i want to buy something.

If you are checking community everyday then you do not need any link to news as new info appears also on forum in term of comments :P
Place your bets for today's promo, ladies and gentlemen
With the: Buy 5 games, pay $10. I think we don't get any gem promo today.
