Master of Magic.
I just got an urge to play it, so I did.
gabriel knight 1

awful graphics
awesome setting

needs a remake.
MechCommanders 1 & 2 , just for S&G.
Well, it's not from before 2001, but I think Port Royale qualifies. (BTW, for me, that game /and its "relatives", too/ is like legalized crack; I sit down to play, and before I know it, an hour has passed!)

Fallout 1. I enjoyed it more than I did the first time I tried to play it, but it still didn't make me want to play it non-stop, and it certainly didn't make me want to finish it. I got really close, but I did something wrong (I think) and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how in the world I was supposed to get to the end. So I just kind of-- stopped playing.

I'm also currently playing Morowind. I'm not sure if that would exactly be considered an old game, but whatever.
Sacrifice..

goofy game.. :P
The last game we played through, or just the last we played when we last played a game?

In the first category that would be Arx Fatalis, I think. In the latter, Divine Divinity or Dark Fall.
I'm playing through Blood again, I'm on E3M3.
