How's Return to Mysterious Island for people who don't play adventures and don't like hard games?

gandalf.nho: Humm, almost all games are adventures and I already have Robin Hood, guess I will get only Corsairs Gold.

If you like Commandos and/or Desperados is a must buy.

grimgroove: I never fully understood that comparison, Robin Hood always played very differently to me. The sword fighting makes the game a lot less stealth-focussed, unless I've been playing it the wrong way?
The comparison is not because of stealth or not, all of these games are RTS where the player control a squad of highly-especialized chars with different abilities and must use all of them to complete the missions, Robin Hood only have some extra mechanics (ex: the camp in the woods) and more melee combat because the lack of firearms, but the basics are the same

Licurg: Does Iron Storm really suck as much as the reviews say ?
Hard to say but for this price, I wouldn´t hesitate ;)
So, is Haegemonia also good from a Sci-Fi story point of view, or is it only good for it's strategy/gameplay etc.?
A good promo with a nice variety of titles from different genres. Pity I already have everything I want from this one, I guess I should consider playing some of these games for a change (who am I kidding, the size of my backlog ensures that will never happen (not in this lifetime, at least)).

The story is Mehh, nothing really special, but if you like games like Star Wolves and Nexus for their gameplay, you'll probably enjoy this to. I actually enjoyed the expansion Solon Heritage for the nice scenarios, more than the original game. It has some nice tweaks to the units, that make it more intuitive and enjoyable.
Unfortunately I've kind of developed this association of "Anuman usually = crap", probably because of Amerzone and the Atlantis games.

phaolo: Whaat? Come on, forum, not a single reply for this.. not even tinyE..
"son, I am disappoint"

Shambhala: I liked it :D
Ooh some satisfaction finally, thanks XD
I've got Dracula Trilogy because of the nice stunt with Dracula 4...
And Haegemonia has spent too long on my wishlist also :)

Grargar: Robin Hood...
Hmmm... to buy or not?
I'm pondering the very same thing. :)

Well, I'm asking because I'm a noob at strategy games and I guess I don't really know if I like them or not yet :D
Will leave it be for the time being, then. Thanks for the reply!

Someone didn't like Atlantis? I loved the first one
So... if you're not into point & click adventures or racing and you own Robin Hood already, is there anything else in this promo you should consider?

Iron storm?
It seems to be a hate it or love it-game, judging by the reviews. Main gripe seems to be the high difficulty.

I'm just looking at the ratings and reviews.
Nice, you own all the games in this promo. =(

I feel like they just had an Anuman promo too. I'll throw my hat in for Iron Storm, even though the difficulty will eat you for breakfast, it is a very unique game.
