A while back I opted to promote one of my favorites from back in the day, Carnivores. Today, I intend to do the same thing for a different set of games.

Army Men and Army Men 2 take the classic plastic soldiers and send them off to war. No, not for your sandbox! Play as Sarge and command your troops through various levels and scenarios including fighting zombies. Hey, they did it before COD. Tired of shooting them with your assault rifle and bazooka? When all else fails... ROACH SPRAY! Oh, and try not to melt your own men! You already have to hunt down the last guy who did that.

I own them all and I cherish them all....well Sarge's Heroes is too damn hard for a game with no save points....but other than that I cherish them all and I agree....VOTE!!!!

And there I was wondering who had the rights to the games and I found a name I wish I didn't; Take-Two.
Yeah, it will be a long while till these games get released.

Probably among the first games I voted for on the wishlist, among others because I've been unable to get Army Men to run properly in ages (IIRC particularly the first game was already causing trouble on Windows XP, didn't even bother to try it on Vista/7).

I was actually a serious fanboy of the series in my early teens, I own all the ones released for PC before RTS (and I only didn't buy that one because first it was too expensive and then it suddenly disappeared). Too bad, though, that the first game remains the best one in the series. Still, as far as I'm concerned every single Army Men game belongs on GOG.

It is a fun great looking game but it was always a look too emphatic about timing. The version I have anyway only unlocks certain things if you go really fast and finish missions in a certain time which in at RTS really kills it for me.

Yeah, that sucks. I simply don't understand why those guys aren't here yet.
And at the same time you dislike turn based games which give you all the time you need. Sucks to be you! :D
