To enter the giveaway, choose a candidate species amongst those in the present and tell me something about the civilization they've created for themselves. ;)

No need to write a wall of text, two or three lines are good enough. You may focus yourself in their behavior, technology, art, cities, wars (or lack of them)... Whatever strikes your fancy. ;)

Species: Yeti/Sasquatch/Bigfoot

In the future they will be telling stories of strange sightings in the woods of a small bipedal creature called humans. Occasionally someone will take blurry pictures of them and clain to have encountered the strange species.

I thought to add "real species" to avoid situations like this one, but I like living dangerously... :D

Gorillas and other apes, and they'll get entertained by watching movies about an alternative future ruled by intelligent humans. And then Chimp Burton will remake that plot with mediocre results.

The cockroaches inherited the earth, mutating and growing to the size of a beagle they live in mega cities spread across what was once Canada and Australia with much of the former world having been bombed into the sea. Though many scoff some still tell the old myths of giants who walked miles in a matter of seconds and who, in their fury pulled the sun from the sky to burn the world.

They have evolved to be six foot and standing right up, herding beetles the size of cattle and milk mutant goats as they fish for elephant whales. weird we both said cockroaches at the same time lol

Species - Gray Langurs

After a 200 year war with xenophobic aliens who saw humans as a potential threat in the 23rd century, humans became extinct. In the ashes of human civilization, the Gray Langurs became the new masters of Earth. Due to an abundance of food from the lack of humans on Earth, the Gray Langurs multiplied and also had more time to learn new things. They started building luxurious tree houses. They started to find ways to make their poo flinging more lethal and accurate so they can defend their civilization against other monkeys if need be. For example, the hand held flaming poo launcher became the main weapon for all Gray Langur infantry. They realized, they needed strong leadership too so they all picked the biggest Gray Langur to be their King. He created laws for all Gray Langurs to obey. Law One. Thou shall not steal thy neighbor's bananas. Law Two. Thou shall only fling poo in self defense. Law Three. In Monkey Dome, two monkeys enter. One monkey leaves.

Someone should tell Sachys about that rule... :P

(and I don't care he being a chimp instead of a Grey Langur!)
