kiva: How does the add thing work? Do they appear on the top like in Dungeon Runners?

Don't know if you remember Ubisoft's little jaunt, but..
Basically there is one advertisement bar on the side constant, and videos that are played every time you load a level (or every other). It's mildly annoying, but it worked for a game like Rayman, where it was all just minigames.

Thanks for the info. Good thing I didnt get them. Those vids would have annoyed me a lot.

Provided the game works? Yeah. Full Spectrum Warrior kept crashing. I'm not going to put up with having to watch advertisements for something that's broken.
i'd imagine having ads would totally ruin the feel of FSW. Nothing like gritty war with adverts!
Holy camoli, I had planned to get The Suffering for years now, nut never got around to actually import it from somewhere.
Just awesome, thanks for the tip! :D
*edit: also thanks to the others for interesting links, I didn't know about the commercial-games list on wiki :-)

I'm not entirely sure that The Suffering is freeware, although I would like it to be.
I know some sites are offering it for download, but Midway still seem to be selling it - http://store.digitalriver.com/DRHM/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayProductDetailsPage&SiteID=midway&Locale=en_US&Env=BASE&productID=83228600

It's being offered as freeware, with ads, by the U.S. Airforce. You can buy it, if you don't want ads anymore.
EDIT:
I mean,

I'm enjoying the game so far. As far as ads are concerned, every so often (normally just before a really good bit), a coke zero video appears that you cant skip without clicking on. I'm not going to lie to you, it totally ruins the atmosphere and it is a big pain in the arse, but for a freebie you really can't complain, especially when the game is pretty good. It's just like watching a film on ITV really.

Now all we need is Suffering: Tie That Binds for the PC to get a free-release.
That or GOG picks up Suffering: Ties That Binds for the PC without any DRM for games to buy-to-download.
