It has its flaws, but yeah, still a lot of fun. Too bad about the ATI-problems because it really should be played on the PC (as stonebro said). So much better with the mouse & keyboard.
It also has the distinction of being the only 3rd person shooter I've played with a reasonably accurate pistol. I can actually score headshots at about 100m. Far better than most games where you're lucky if the aim remains accurate after about 10m
Well it's actually a bit broken Pandemic game... During it's about 20 hours run though time, it crashed on me 4-5 times. And yes, I have an ATI card with 9.12 Catalysts and 1.03 beta patch.
Still, it's a game that has titties (remember to switch nudity on at options) and nazis. And titties and nazis. It copies about every "open world" game out there but it does it nicely and brings some new things to the field too (titties and nazis, oh yeah, that black&white stuff too). Soundtrack is quite entertaining, but it tends to repeat itself after a while as there doesn't seem to be more than one radio channel and the game seems to use "Feeling Good" and "The Finger Points to You" quite often...
Only negative thing I could say is that after the main plot there isn't much to do except of wondering around and destroying stuff. Too bad that by then you have unlocked about everything and money becomes obsolete.
I just bought this yesterday and look forward to playing it! Looks good to me and highly underrated.
Bought it from GamersGate along with Mass Effect 2 pre-order and Cryostasis. First three games from them, partly to do with the 20% discount they having til 18th January and partly to do with the fact that they allow bank transfer payments via Paypal without the need for a Visa card as security. I'm in the middle of changing jobs, banks, location etc so don't have Visa until I start my job.
I've been unable to buy games from other retailers (including GOG) because of this, which is understandable to an extent but annoying if you're a legitimate customer with the money in the bank.
Kudos to GamersGate, they'll be seeing more of my custom due to this, even if their download speeds are terrible (I tried to download The Saboteur from them but in the end it was three times as fast after registering the serial to the EA download manager).
Anyone else playing it on PS3? More importantly has anyone managed to get the Midnight Show DLC to download? I keep getting a 3-4 second "contacting EA servers" and then it does nothing or an empty list if I ry the PSN store option in game (and out of game the PSN store seems to be convinced it doesn't exist, not even videos)
Huhwhat? There's DLC for Saboteur?

more like nude patch.
Didn't think they allowed that in Australia!
Titties and Nazis were mentioned in the same breath... Im afraid i must now buy this game...

The DLC is free. Note that if you have the PC version it is pre-installed.

Sort of free. It's their protection to get you to buy the game new. If you buy it new, the game comes with a code that enables nudity and the secret downstairs section of the cabaret. If you buy the game used, you don't get this code, so you have to pay $2.99 either on XBox Live or PlayStation Network to get the content.

I did, had no problem. I think it's the Australia part. Maybe you could set up a US account, and download it there from them. Unfortunately you would have to pay $2.99 for the content, but at least you would be getting it.

Oh right, I forgot. It seems EA is going to be pulling this trick for all their games now. This isn't as major or expensive as the DLC bundled with Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2, however (which comes out to about $15-20), so I don't know how effective it will be; $3 just for nudity isn't a particularly good deal and the girls are nearly naked even with nudity disabled.
yay misogyny

Don't forget you do get a minigame you can play to get an exclusive fast car.
Just been playing this and loving it. Makes me feel like I'm in an Indiana Jones meets Boy's Own adventure (old British comic series), with shocking backstory, sexy girls, a dastardly villain and damn good style.
I don't know what the sales have been like, but I hope they're enough to make EA consider reuniting Pandemic for a sequel...
