Kirben: Entomorph: Plague of the Darkfall still doesn't include or offer the patch, which fixed several issues.
What patch? Got a link?

Geralt_of_Rivia: Entomorph also still has problems with the music.

Known issue that's going to take some time to solve. Sorry :(

Alfie3000: Omerta is missing the 1.07 patch which fixes a game breaking bug. Steam has been patched for months.
We're waiting on patch 1.08 that is supposed to be distributed to all DDs at the same time. Again, this is out of our control at this time.

Geralt_of_Rivia: I was holding off playing that game until this is fixed. Can you give any ETA on that? A rough estimation (e.g. 2-3 months) would be fine.
No ETA as I am really not sure how long it will take, I'd rather not give an ETA than give one and have people expecting something. Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear :/

Crosmando: Well yeah, I think GOG should offer both DOSBox and SVM installers for all games which are compatible with both. But for games like I Have No Mouth where there's actually some serious bugs in the vanilla game which SVM fixes - it should be the default installer, put dosbox installer as extras.
Umm, we tested the entire game in DOSBox and if we encountered any game breaking bugs then we would have delayed the release until they were fixed.

Crosmando: Still, there's bugs. Better to use the build without those bugs than with, right?
If you, or anyone else, experience those bugs, send us a save and a bug report to our Support department as is always the case :)

Crosmando: .........
But there's probably nothing you can do to fix them. As they are bugs in the code of the original game. SVM fixes them because it's really a rebuild of the entire game code while using the assets, unlike dosbox which is a literal emulation. I'm not intending to disrespect GOG or it's support.

I assume you guys know SVM is better if you have the choice, otherwise you wouldn't have realized Kyrandia series with it?
All I can say is please leave feedback on this matter. :)

(Sorry but I try not to get into technical discussions too much as I don't always know everything about a particular issue with a game...)
