Listen to the first minute or so of these guys before they actually start playing the game - I can't believe we have come so far as we need to play a tactical RPG on easy - Thanks Bioware.
Witcher 2 is a tactical rpg? Whoa. Demise indeed.
As to playing games on easy, well, it's there for people. Playing it with a pad, though? Geez.
If the Witcher is a tactical RPG, I'll show you a green dog.

Hahha, yea.
Jesus not even The Witcher 1 was a tactical RPG. For one thing you don't have a party.
Hey guys I don't know if you heard the news yet but tactical RPG now means any RPG that is hard or has any challenge at all. Just thought I would let you know.

That makes complete sense. We should continue to mainstream. Perhaps one day Devil May Cry can be considered a tactical RPG.

Gameplay should be removed. Its a thing that has been bothering gamers a long time. Why think how you're going to play the game, when you can just sit, relax, and watch how the whole game plays itself?

Isn't that pretty much what Hideo Kojima has been doing to Metal Gear Solid since number 2?

I'll show you a green dog.

All I need is a regular dog and some green spray paint.

I always wondered whats the difference between an action adventure with stats and an modern RPG. I believe its that combat has to feel like an chore to be counted as RPG, right?

An action adventure can claim to have an open world, but you have to traverse it linearly because you need an item from one area to unlock the next area.
An RPG can claim to have an open world, but you have to traverse it linearly because you need to gain enough experience in one area to be able to survive in the next area.

Hahaha... I get where you are coming from, but you can have tactical action games as well as pure tactics games. Rainbow Six for example.

Witcher 2 is certainly very tactical despite being an action RPG.

QFT.

An action RPG isn't necessarily just hack&slash, having good reflexes and spamming your strongest ability.

In TW 2 you need to be patient, to use the right skill at the right time and to think ahead when moving so you don't get surrounded (at least on hard). What is that if not tactics?

The problem with that is that Devil May Cry and its ilk would be tactical RPG series.
