Games in general:
1. DRM. Includes online requirement, scanning computer for 3rd party programs or mods, badly managed CD keys which can only be used a limited number of times on one computer.
2. Broken, unobtainable or very difficult trophies, achievements or unlockables.
3. Lack of, removal of or unforgiving save game or save checkpoint systems.
4. The game crashing back to desktop or entire reboot of the computer at any time during gameplay.
Action or shooters:
1. Permaspawning enemies.
2. Very short or almost non-existent singleplayer campaigns or storylines, with the game focusing almost entirely on multiplayer instead.
3. Bad camera angles.
Adventure games:
1. Very small objects or features which are not highlighted and require a lot of searching up and down, or may even disappear entirely in some playthroughs.
Roleplaying games:
1. Unbalanced character progression vs enemy progression and combat difficulties.
2. Unbalanced or unrewarding quest progression and outcomes.
Strategy games:
1. Unbalanced levels and game difficulty.
Simulation games:
1. Lack of in-game tutorials, or lack of clear instructions for doing something that is missing in the game or in-game manuals.
