Sinful Hot Chocolate - Every year I make fudge at Christmastime. It's a pain to clean out the pot -- mostly because I hate to see chocolate go to waste! -- so I came up with a great way to both "clean" the pot and save that chocolate!

Once you pour out the fudge, simply add some milk to the pot, and heat on low to medium-low. Whisk in a packet or two of hot chocolate mix to make it even richer, and bring not-quite to a simmer.

This is especially good when you've just made peppermint fudge! *drool*

I'm in for Fester Mudd - Curse of the Gold Episode 1!

Um, I went to Shake Shack and got a double shackburger: http://aht.seriouseats.com/images/20091123-shakeshack.jpg

It really does look like the photo, no mcdonalds photoshop bullshit. It's delicious, every bite is like an explosion of cheesy, creamy flavor. Oh man I want one right now, but it's also kinda expensive.
Nice idea :)
Please count me in for The Whispered World

I'm in love with Ukrainian cuisine, especially potato pancakes or "dyruny" in Ukrainian. Very delicious and easy to make -> grated potato + flour + egg + spices (may be grated onion, if you like it).
20 min and you should have something similar :)

Apfelstrudel. My most favorite sweet pastry. Excellent combination of little sour taste of apple and sweet dough. With a sprinkle sugar on top.

EDIT: I'm eating one right now ^^

my fave food has to be Rendang. is a spicy beef curry with thick spicy cocconut sauce , feel so tasty when eat it together with rice and off course add some green chilly sambel . my grand ma recipe is the one that i like most, especially because she usually made any beef base food in large number which made the sauce have extra meaty taste.

hmm for the i'm in for:
1 little dew
2 star wolves 3
3 two world 2

I worked at a Spanish restaurant some years ago now and learned most of what I know about food service there. Although paella is a wonderful wonderful dish that y'all should get to know and love, today I want instead to tell you about dry aged steaks. You hang your cut of beef in a cellar at about 50 degrees F. A mold grows on it, covering the entire surface and blocking out all other pathogens. This mold only penetrates into the meat about 1/16 of an inch. Within this cool and mold-sealed environment, the meat begins to breakdown without actually rotting or becoming toxic. After 2 or 3 weeks, the meat is sliced into steaks using a certain methodical technique that keeps the blade from introducing mold into the clean meat within.

Cheers!
