QC: We need a translation too: Hbotf EpN, T off D Atpps (I can't tell the spacing apart in the second half)

Eso, Gs Ef Han loG
I'm just going to go ahead and let you know that doesn't mean anything. It would be cruel for you guys if I didn't tell you that.

Roman5: Also, just out of curiosity for the GOG team: What kind of Laptop is it and how did you agree to trash it? that laptop took one hell of a beating

Who is the person who puts on the Armour?

Where was this shot? In a Cafe in Poland?
It was an already-broken laptop. We actually had two identical (broken) ones. And we wrecked the crap out of 'em.

Jurij wore the armor. He was a great sport, especially because we didn't tell him beforehand he'd be wearing it for about five hours. I think he sweat out a kilo or two of water while filming, poor guy.

Oh, yeah: and we actually shot it in the common area of the office downstairs, but after spending a couple hundred bucks on dressing the room up like a cafe.

Longcat: TheEnigmaticT: I'll post again since you probably didn't read my last post, but if you want to keep the two next commercials a secret, you should really remove them from youtube until tomorrow and sunday.

I have copies, but I won't post them out of respect :P
I turned 'em private, since apparently simply having them "unlisted" was insufficient.

Longcat: Nope, all good now :)

The problem wasn't the unlisting, it's your linking system, pretty easy to change a digit.

Do I get a cookie?

Aaw, no cookie :(

Respect fading... fading... gone.

Hmm, now where should I post these HD GoG commercials?
Incidentally; there's still a fourth video you haven't seen. ;)

Hooray for taking too long to upload it, I guess. It's up now. And private. Bwahaha.
avatar
Longcat: Yeah, I regreted not waiting for that;)

But I still have the two remaining commercials in 1080p mp4 format on my HD ;)

A simple thank you would have sufficed. Bwahaha.
Good point. Thanks for the heads up.

bazilisek: :: music stuff ::
It's royalty-free music from a sound library. Nothing crazy going on there. ;)

tritone: some questions...

1. Just how many "monkeys" were on the many posters on the wall?
2. What is the guy reading who is covering his face with his book?
1. There are three monkey posters for a total of 11 monkeys.
2. You will see. The guy hiding his face shows up in the next video, posted tomorrow.

Bwahahaha. ;)

BJWanlund: And that's a roundabout way of wildly speculating that Mac support has finally come to GOG.com, albeit in an extremely limited manner (possibly even the DOSBox and/or ScummVM games only at first). Especially since GOG.com almost always tends to bag on Steam's DRM, maybe DRM-free gaming and cross-platform gaming will finally merge and coexist peaceably.

BJ
Sorry, dude. The guys who edited the videos did so on a Mac. Not to be a buzzkill, or anything.

Wait, I'm hardly living up to my nickname here; I'm being entirely too forthright.

Um...

There. That should be enigmatic enough to uphold my reputation. ;)

Zjeraar: Too bad about the continuity error: guy putting on gloves, guy putting on helmet with bare hands...
I was hoping no one would notice that. >.>
avatar
Gunblade0: i dont know what they did after witcher 2's launch, but i remember when i preordered it, they offered the difference in price between $ and € as credit to buy more games without actually paying. so i think the balance of pricing was kept
We still do.

I can see a simple Caesar cipher isn't complication enough; I guess I'll have to try harder next time. :)

xyem: Anyone else getting "This video is private" on "The Complimentary Cake" video?
Should be public now? I'm not sure why you were getting the "private" message. ?.?
avatar
Arteveld: GOG.com, where the cake is the real deal. ;D
I suggest you read the fine print under that video :P
avatar
Fuzzyfireball: Their facial expressions on the cake commercial are brilliant.
The most impressive thing about Krash's face when he's eating cake is that was about the 12th take; he had seriously eaten almost a half a kilo of cake that day and was somehow still acting like he was enjoying it.
avatar
Roman5: wow, first Juri sweats for half a day in a real suit of Armour and now this...

thanks to everyone on the GOG team for these commercials!
Yeah, the guys worked pretty hard. Me, I just stand around and look pretty. :D
avatar
Wishbone: Did someone forget to switch to Daylight Savings Time?
Yeah, we made a mistake yesterday. Unless you're suggesting we were supposed to have released something already today?
Well some people are asking about cake...
