Any way of removing games / tools from your Steam account? I wanna remove some of the "tools", like the mods' dedicated servers and stuff like that.

You can't remove them but as long as they're not installed I don't see a problem with them being listed.
Would contacting Valve work?

Probably not. They put that stuff (well most of it) on everyone's accounts by default. They probably don't even have the process in place to remove just some of it from your account. Besides, like AndrewC mentioned, as long as you don't install them, what's the harm with them being listed?
BTW - In the new Steam client beta, you do have the ability to only show the games you have installed on the library's game page. Unfortunately, they didn't give the media and tools pages the same functionality.

No.
I think the support can remove the games, but I seriously doubt that they can/will remove only tools associated with some game.
They will either do nothing at all, or you can try to get removed a game, which will remove the associated tools too.

Well, I basically want to get rid of these "Age of Chivarly Dedicated Server" tools, and similar stuff. Those are good just for the HL2 mods, mods that I will never ever use.
Its just cluttering the list. :p
You can contact Valve support and ask them to remove games from your account. They won't want to do it, but will if you insist politely.
However, if you want tools removed, you'll have to have the related games removed too.
And don't expect any refunds, as they won't issue any.
You could suggest in the Steam beta forum that there should be an option to hide unwanted tools. But I doubt that would put it up the top of their list of priorities.Still, it's your best bet.

Well, considering that you have tools showing for games you dont own :/
I second Navagon's suggestion of putting a post in the Steam Beta suggestion forums to hide unwanted tools. I never really go to that menu so it doesn't bother me (I put the only tool I have installed as a shortcut on the desktop)
Ok, thanks.
I contacted Valve, will see what they say about it.
Unless you'd rather the world not know you own the Petz games I don't see the harm in keeping games on your list.
Cant remove them, sadly.
uninstalled, close the tab.
Anyway, some people will be happy if they could remove it completely. some of the games are Stalin Versus Martians.
Oh God that horrible game. It shouldn't even exist under the not installed tab
