Fight the system inside the system inside the system inside the system!

Stacking, the unique multi-layered and puzzle-packed adventure from Tim Schafer's Double Fine team, is available on GOG.com, now for only $9.99. That's 33% off the regular price until Tuesday, December 4, at 10:59AM GMT.

Dystopian societies, enslaved nations, totalitarianism--gamers are no strangers to the grim, enslaved worlds. Stacking, however, presents this setting in a very unique way. The workers are being exploited by the ruthless industrialist known as The Baron. We're talking things like child labor and life ruining debts here. You are Charlie Blackmore, the youngest and smallest member of the Blackmore family. It's up to you to put an end to this proletaryat exploitation and free the other Blackmores from the greasy hands of The Baron.

Stacking is an adventure game inspired by two things--the economical breakdown of the 1920s and Russian matrioska dolls. Bizzare? You don't know the half of it! The fact that the hero of this story, Charlie, is the smallest of the dolls, allows for some very interesting mechanics. By stacking with other, larger characters you gain their abilities that will get you through the games many creative puzzles. There are also some little side-stories for you to discover, as the amazing world of stacking unfolds before your eyes, layer after layer, after layer, after layer, after layer.

See why the game was so highly praised by both media and gamers. Get Stacking, for only $9.99 this week!

Do you actually have a list on your Desktop with all the links and games?

Or do you do this by hand every time? O_o?!

Either way it's pretty tiring to see that stuff in every thread. We know where the wishlist is.
"martioska dolls"?!

It's "matryoshka".
Woohoo great release, thank you!
I may pick it up in the future... at the moment I have enough to play and it doesn't look like must-play-immediately-gimme-that-gimme-that type of game.
It's me or I sense this as one of few steps to add LucasArts games catalog?

To Barry_Woodward's list I want to add Escape from Monkey Island.

Or this part is not favorite (from some reason) for MI fans?

Both spelling variations are correct, although "matryosha" is the popular one.
Thank you so much! A non-Steam DRM-infested version is a dream come true.

Well, a few more bonuses would be fine as it is pretty light right now (same goes for Costume Quest). As I already got these games on Steam, the DRM-free argument is not enough on his own to make me purchase this again.

It takes a while to make the lists initially, but once I do I save them for future use.

I was wondering who was downvoting me. ;)

While that may be true, it's been my experience that posting direct links to games is effective in getting people, who might not otherwise do so, to vote for them.

I didn't exclude it for any reason other than Tim Schafer wasn't involved in the making of it.

...and that's the reason we don't have to buy steamed games anymore :D
Fantastic!! Thanks GOG and Double Fine, glad it was worth resisting the temptation to buy it from Steam.

I think the variation you're using should be matrioska (tr vs rt).

It's high time Klei joined our glorious GOGolution - I'd buy Shank or Mark of the Ninja in an instant.

You, sir, are correct! There is in fact a spelling mistake here :-D Now I understand the original poster's outrage ;-)
