I liked the second one best, out of the second generation ive played Silver the most.

You can't beat Gen 1, you just can't.

Though gamewise I like Gen 3 for making Pokemon feel more modern.

Gen 1 for the mons, Gen 3 for the polish, and Gen 2 for everything else. Personally, my favorite is Crystal, but I also enjoy Emerald. Maybe I was just born too late, but Blue was kinda...hard to manage. But, it does have the best mons and some killer tunes. The remake really does it justice. Last handheld Pokemon game I played was Diamond, which was kinda mediocre, so I don't even wanna know what the current generation of mons look like. I can only imagine...*shudder*

Ruby was the first Pokemon game I owned and I still remember it fondly to this day. I can't even remember the team I had to be honest. I just played it for the fun of it. If it weren't for the fact that Torchic's evolved forms were so useful I would have loved to have given it an everstone.

My fav was Blue, I've played most up to Black 2, but never finished any of the new ones

Best game for me is still Red. It brought the wonderful Pokémon games into my life and was really enjoyable.

My top Pokémon are in no particular order;
Abra, Charizard, Eeveelutions, Absol, Gyarados, Rotom, Reuniclus, Gogoat and my favourite Axew,

I once set myself the task to complete Pearl with only the Eeveelutions as a bit of fun. It was really hard going at times, but I got there in the end.

The second generation was my favourite. Out of the third and fourth generations, the only games I managed to finish were the remakes...

Pokemon yellow and crystal are my favorite games in the official series.
