My question: If I buy Plus now on my PS3 I realize that I only get the games as long as I'm subbed and that the sub covers all PS devices. However,
what happens with the PS4 so close to release? Have they mentioned plans to let those games be downloaded on the PS4? (even if its to come later).
I also assume that any games I buy (even with the PLUS discount) are mine to re-download forever even if I let my sub lapse?
For example: Lego LotR is now 75% off. If I buy it for $5.00 and then get a PS4, will they ever make this game downloadable for the PS4 hardware? If they do, will the plus purchase cover it?
They have said that they plan on supporting the PS3 for a while. But we all know what happens when that stops being profitable. So I'm curious if their streaming service might cover past purchases, or if they expect you to keep buying the same games every few years. Thanks for any details.
