DosBox Turbo is definitely better than the free one; I've successfully gotten X-Wing Collector's CD running on my Transformer with it, and it even goes pretty smooth. Lack of joystick support in Android means I can't play it even on easy, though. (No, it's not because I'm too old, dammit!)

I'm currently playing through Judgement Rites (using DOSBox Turbo) when I'm not playing Avadon.

Anyone who knows my general dislike for adventure games should be duly impressed that there's one that I actually enjoyed enough to go dust off the CDs in my binder and play. :D

lowyhong: What phone are you using?
My phone? A Samsung S9000. My android device? An ASUS Transformer.

Looking at the Transformer specs now, it's really a nice tablet PC. How's word processing like on the Android? I may get a tablet instead of a new laptop to replace my old Acer netbook next year, if it's got a good word processing functionality.
For word processing, its's perfectly adequate, as long as you aren't using the terrible interface for GDocs. An Android tablet is a perfectly good computer replacement except for the fact that it doesn't archive emails (for searching; when you get 250+ emails a day, you need to be able to search through them pretty quickly and using IMAP search s u c k s) and the GDocs implementation is atrocious. If you've cool working locally and then backing up through, say, DropBox, you're good to go with that one, though.

ohiwastedmylife: Can anyone help me out with the install process from GOG to dosbox turbo? I have many games running on dosbox turbo but cannot get GOG games to work. I tried the free beneath a steel sky and had a Win32 only error. When you download the game all you get is a setup.exe file and nothing else. All i did was download from GOG, place on sd card, and try to run the file as normal and it says that the game can only run in Win32. Am I missing a step with the GOG games? HELP ME OUT!
BASS is a SCUMMVM game, so that wouldn't work via DOSBox. Try Ultima IV, if you'd like.
